LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – February 19, 2026 – On the quest for the championship, Lincoln University-Pennsylvania's trivia team is set to compete in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) National Qualifying Tournament (NQT) on February 21, 2026, at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC.
Marking Lincoln University’s 17th year in the HCASC, the team is competing to secure one of the 32 spots at the National Championship Tournament, happening in April at American Honda’s corporate campus in Southern California. The winning team will receive over $500,000 in institutional grants.
Coached by Raquel Lightner, the university’s Archivist and Records Manager, this year’s team members include Malachi Jackson (Captain), a junior Political Science student, Cody Gibbs, a senior Health Science student, Macy Deininger, a junior Pan Africana Studies student, and Nya Chambers, a sophomore Biochemistry student.
“The Honda Campus All-Star Challenge provides our students with the opportunity to showcase their intellect, develop leadership skills, and connect with other HBCU student leaders while continuing Lincoln’s legacy of excellence,” says Coach Raquel Lightner. “I am excited to lead the team in my first year as head coach and build upon that tradition.”
Our trivia team has attended the HCASC National Championship Tournament for the past six years straight, making it to the quarter finals three times. Follow the team’s journey this year on their Instagram page, instagram.com/LUPAHCASC.
